The Movie Interruption is a live comedy event that has been delighting audience across the country. Created by Doug Benson (Super High Me, Doug Loves Movies) and brought to Kansas City by Chris Cubas (One Of Comedy Centrals 9 "Comics To Watch" for 2013 and a finalist in NBC's "Stand UpNBC" talent search) The Movie Interruption will appeal to both comedy fans and movie lovers alike. Each Friday Chris is joined by some of the best comics from Kansas City and across the country as they sit in the front row with microphones and make hilarious jokes through movies both classic and otherwise. Each week a new movie, the jokes 100% improvised to guarantee a new hilarious show that will have you coming back again and again!

The sleepy little town of Woodsboro just woke up screaming (get it, SCREAMing?). There's a killer in their midst who's seen a few too many scary movies (his name is Wes Craven). Suddenly, nobody is safe, as the psychopath stalks victims, taunts them with trivia questions (maybe its Alec Trebek?), then rips them to bloody shreds. It could be anybody... Sidney (Portier?), the quiet high school beauty with an ugly past... Billy (Idol?), her faithful boyfriend with a frustrated sex life... Tatum (Channing?), her cute best friend with a answer for everything... Casey, the lovely blonde who knows her thrillers... Geeky Randy, the scary movie fanatic... Stuart, the wild partier...
